When I woke up this morning I was thinking of just how to say thank you to Eddie for a fantastic performance yesterday.
I was thinking of how to thank those of you in the CrossFit community for coming out and supporting Zach.
I was afraid that I'd fall short. Afterall, many times we're faced with ass bags handing out false sentiment like it's Christmas candy.
I didn't know just how to voice my appreciation then I got this message from our friend Lynsey at CrossFit Confluence:
"Great turnout for Laughs for Zach! Such an uplifting evening...we at CFC will continue to pray for Zach and keep all of you in our thoughts...Happy New Year Cf Pittsbugh ♥"
When I read it I saw how truly simple my post could be.
Like Coach Glassman always says in regard to CrossFit ... the cream always rises to the top. You proved it again last night.
Thank you all so much for your continued support, good thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Mike

On another note.
You should have noticed by now (some of you have already commented on it) that our WODs have been conspicuously absent on the blog lately.
There are a couple reasons for this which I'll explain now.
1. The easiest way to prevent Cherry Picking is to not post the WODs. You want to see what it is ... lace up your go-fasters and get in here to work.
2. I will no longer provide an easy ride for poachers. You know what I'm talking about? The ass bag at the globo gym who calls himself CrossFit in between dumbell concentration curls and tricep cable kick-backs.
We're taking a new direction in our programming. This is for you, our Athletes. There's a big, wide world of free resources out there to choose from but not ours. Not right now. Right now we program for you.
3. AND THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT: the other part of this deal is that we won't leave you hanging. There truly will be something for everyone. We're CrossFit. We were the first. We haven't forgotten the recipe for success in training. You do what we ask of you and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. But then what do I know, I've only programmed for OGA Teams in a war zones for something like six or seven years.
So, let's give it a go. Who's with me? Hope I didn't stress anyone out too much :)
Come on guys, life is not a spectator sport. You can get in the game ... or you can be the Stat guy.
